On Saturday evening, June 27, 2026, Batang Hari Regent Muhammad Fadhil Arief officially opened the 5th Camping Bareng Se-Sumatera, organized by the Campervan Indonesia community at Taman Tapah Malenggang. The two-day event, held June 27–28, drew hundreds of participants from across the country. The regent thanked the organizers for choosing Batang Hari as host and said the gathering supports regional tourism and the local economy.
