The six-day Airstreamⓘ Club International rally began in Minot, North Dakota, and will run through August 27. Organizers expect nearly 1,000 Airstream motorhomes and guests from 48 states and six Canadian provinces. According to one source, about 2,000 people are expected to attend.
The program includes exhibitions, concerts, educational events, and a blood drive. Organizers project an economic impact of $2–2.5 million.
This is the first time Minot has hosted the rally, though North Dakota has held it at least twice since the 1990s. Most of the rally is closed to the public, but on Sunday, August 23, from 12:00 to 16:00, visitors can view vintage Airstream models.
