Caravan park at former pig farm ordered to close

Simon John Turner, 49, living in a Weymouth caravan park, befriended vulnerable victims and tricked them into paying for nonexistent caravans and investments. He was sentenced to 10 years for three fraud counts totaling about £190,000. One victim lost his home.

A Peugeot Boxer camper van and two bicycles were stolen from the Long Harry parking area in Savernake Forest. The theft occurred on April 6 between approximately 2:30 PM and 6:50 PM; police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
