The event brings together VW Bus, Beetle, and retro vehicle enthusiasts from across Wales and the Welsh Borders for a summer weekend celebrating vintage Volkswagen culture in the heart of Welsh countryside.

Carmarthen (Caerfyrddin) is one of the oldest towns in Wales, associated with Merlin's legend and set in the Tywi valley. The Kia Sportage Hybrid was named 'Best Car for Caravans up to 1500kg' at the 2026 What Car? Tow Car Awards in the UK. The HEV GT-Line S AWD variant, with a 1,510kg towing capacity and 6.4L/100km fuel economy, outperformed rivals in the compact SUV segment. Testing involved stability, handling, and emergency braking assessments with a Swift caravan loaded to 85% of the car's kerb weight. The award adds to the Sportage's strong 2026 performance, with over 21,000 UK sales year-to-date.
