ACSI, a European campsite inspection scheme founded in 1965, visits thousands of campsites across Europe, with inspectors staying on-site and assessing all aspects of the experience. The site accommodates tents, campervans, motorhomes, trailer tents and roof tents, and also offers self-catering rooms, a visitor information centre and bike hire. It previously received the AA’s Small Campsite of the Year 2023/24 and TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, and was an honourable mention in the 2024 ACSI Awards, ranking in the top five in the UK and Ireland.

The Southwest Motorhome Show 2026 will be held at the Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September. The event brings together dealers, exhibitors, motorhomes and campervans, alongside talks, demonstrations and live entertainment. Opening hours are 9.30am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday. Day tickets are £10 in advance or £15 without advance booking, with entry free for those aged 17 and under. On Saturday, a Repair Café will run from 11am to 1pm at The Art Bank Café, where volunteers will assess electrical appliances, mechanical and wooden items, jewellery, bags and clothes for repair.
