David Warren from Hixon, Staffordshire, converted a Fiat Dobblo Maxi into a micro-camper. The vehicle was bought at auction for £950 in a damaged condition and fully rebuilt: engine overhaul, new turbochargers, brake system, and exhaust.
Warren plans to drive 1082.9 miles to the Nürburgring, complete a lap, and return within 72 hours. The trip is set to start June 3 from Birmingham.
As part of the campaign, the converted van is being raffled off. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the children's charity NSPCC.
