A Dutch couple known as De Rugzakkies canceled their world tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic and instead bought a 1983 Mercedes 508D fire truck to convert into a camper. The project involves multiple stages, from purchase and planning to furniture installation, and will be documented in a series.

BeTriton 3.0: modular electric vehicle that can be a tricycle, boat or motorhome

Latvian entrepreneur Aigars Lauzis has unveiled the BeTriton 3.0 concept — a modular electric vehicle that transforms into a tricycle, boat and motorhome. On the road, a 250 W electric motor powers it to 25 km/h with a range of up to 150 km; on water, a separate 2,150 W motor provides speeds up to 8 km/h. In motorhome mode, it offers a fold-out sleeping area; optional solar panels allow recharging.
