Fiat Multipla converted into a camper van crossing South America

A Slovakian photographer couple purchased a Fiat Multipla for 900 euros and converted it into a camper van. They have driven over 11,000 km across Europe and Asia in it, and later shipped it to South America. The DIY conversion included a foldable bed, a mini-kitchen, and a pop-up roof tent.

A set consisting of a Fiat 600 Multipla car and a Lander Graziella 300 mini caravan illustrates a historical approach to camper travel. The Fiat 600 Multipla, launched in the mid-1950s, is considered one of the first modern MPVs and could be converted into a sleeping area. The caravan, measuring about 3 meters long and weighing 400 kg, was designed for small cars and provided basic amenities for weekend trips.

Spanish content creator Dani (@dani_elguaje) bought a used military truck on Wallapop, planning to convert it into a home after losing his apartment. Prices for such trucks on the Spanish second-hand market range from 8,000 to 25,000 euros.
