Motorhomers expanded the energy system of their bimobil EX420 expedition vehicle on an IVECO Daily 4x4 chassis ahead of a trip to Africa. The previous battery capacity was too small for working in high heat with the air conditioning running. The vehicle now carries two large Forster Batteries units. Forster Batteries is a small family company that originated in motorsport. Norbert Forster described the design of lithium iron phosphate batteries, the battery management system and the tests each unit undergoes before delivery.
