Simon McDonagh, who set up an illegal caravan site on farmland near Blythe Bridge in Stafford Borough, has been sentenced to two months in prison, suspended for two years. He admitted breaching a court injunction by continuing to bring in construction waste and carry out earthworks.
The court also ordered him to clear the site of all caravans, trailers and machinery, dismantle fencing and remove all building materials. The prohibition on any unauthorised development of the land has been extended until December 2031.
