The mayor of Saint-Nic in Finistère, Gilles Molac, signed an order banning motorhome parking along Pentrez beach. A deputy mayor said motorhomes occupy parking spaces, preventing families from arriving by car, and that some owners deploy awnings, leave trailers, cook and perform maintenance on the parking area. Officials acknowledge that only 20% of motorhome users are responsible for these violations. The municipality is negotiating the purchase of land at Dour Frout to provide permanent parking.
