The UKOME (Transport Coordination Center) of Tekirdağ has banned parking of both towable caravans and self-propelled motorhomes within the city limits. The decision has drawn criticism from motorhome owners and local businesses, who point out the inconsistency: motorhomes are registered as minibuses or panel vans, which are allowed to park. The municipality has not yet offered alternative parking areas.
