Motorhomes occupy charging spots in Shenzhen park for weeks

Chinese company Seres has patented a toilet built under a car seat and activated by voice command. The device features a ventilation system, a waste tank, and a heating function to evaporate liquid. The patent was registered in April, but the manufacturer has not yet announced the release of vehicles with this feature.

Tuku has unveiled the "Shenlong Daxia" motorhome based on the Changan Hunter pickup. The model with a hybrid powertrain and a three-section pop-up roof will be showcased at the Chengdu exhibition from May 15 to 17, 2026. The vehicle's height is 2.3 meters when the roof is lowered.

A video of a homemade floating motorhome from China went viral in 2026, though the original was published in 2023.
