North Yorkshire County Council will review a ban on overnight motorhome parking after a consultation drew overwhelming opposition. Over 3,000 responses to the 2024 consultation on the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) showed around 90% of motorhome owners objected to the restrictions in Scarborough and Whitby. The ban, introduced to address overcrowding, expires in May, with a decision on its future expected in April.
