Larnaca authorities conducted a large-scale operation to remove illegally parked RVs and makeshift structures from a beach near the Marine Club. On Tuesday, six RVs were towed, and on Thursday, three RVs and about nine illegal structures were dismantled. Earlier, after an ultimatum from the Ministry of Interior and the district administration, 12 owners voluntarily removed their RVs.
Offenders face administrative fines and can retrieve their RVs only after paying them. Authorities say inspections will continue to ensure free public access to beaches and protect public space.
