The number of fines increased from 200 to nearly 700 per month between July and January, totaling over 3,000 citations. The ordinance prohibits vehicles over 27 feet long and 7 feet high from parking between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Authorities offer violators the alternative of using the H Barracks overnight parking lot, open from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
