The regional administration in Burgas conducted an inspection in Vromos Bay after reports of systematic parking on dunes. Police found two improperly parked cars, whose drivers were warned and moved them. The administration acknowledged the problem has existed for years, and signs banning parking on the beach and dunes, installed at the start of the season, have disappeared. Earlier, dozens of caravans were found on dunes, the beach, and green areas near Kara Dere, with some license plates removed. A regulation effective from 2025 requires designated areas for tents, campers, and caravans to have waste containers, chemical toilets, organized waste collection, and be located outside beaches and dunes.
