Milford parish councillor Sue Pepper has proposed opening the New Forest District Council-owned car park in Keyhaven to campervans overnight next summer. She said campervans have regularly parked in residential streets since Hampshire County Council introduced parking charges and an overnight ban in New Lane and Salt Grass Lane. Councillors agreed to write to NFDC asking it to reconsider; the council had previously said the car park was not suitable for the weight of campervans.
