Expert warns: the most important thing when buying a camper is not the bed or the kitchen, but these three things

According to the VOYenVAN channel expert, electrical autonomy is the key factor when choosing a motorhome or camper van, not the bed or kitchen. He recommends solar panels (160–200 W for motorhomes, at least 200 W for camper vans), a LiFePO4 lithium auxiliary battery of at least 150 Ah, and a 1200 W inverter. Starting in 2026, vehicle inspections will more strictly check electrical modifications, so they must be officially certified.

Volkswagen launches Multivan Camper as a blank canvas for DIY camper conversion

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced the Multivan Camper, a bare-bones version of its van designed for professional converters and self-builders. It comes with a pop-up roof, swivel front seats, and an empty cargo area of 4,053 liters.
