La Rochelle: Caravans have left the CCI plot in Chef-de-Baie

A group of approximately 140 caravans, evicted from a parking lot in Périgny on April 15, has moved to an adjacent plot, freeing up the Chamber of Commerce and Industry land. The plot was intended for a major offshore racing hub project, and its temporary occupation caused issues for the local fishing port. The situation was resolved after Enedis installed a secure electrical connection for the encampment. Some occupants plan to leave the site on May 24, but the overall departure date for the entire group remains unclear.

Pierre-Yves Malet has opened a camper van rental agency for tourists in the commune of Rully (Saône-et-Loire department). Three new equipped vans are currently available for rent starting at 109 euros per night with unlimited mileage. Man Seriously Burned in Caravan Fire in Dordogne Forest

A 60-year-old man suffered second and third degree burns to his face, back and hands from the heating system and was airlifted to the Bordeaux burn unit.
