Drivers with a category B license will be allowed to drive electric vehicles and motorhomes with a total weight of up to 4.25 tonnes. The change aims to promote the use of electric vehicles and simplify the operation of motorhomes without requiring a category C1 license.

Drivers are advised not to rely solely on navigation, to account for crosswinds and blind spots, and to inspect the vehicle before departure.
