The Missouri State Fair’s public campground, sponsored by Missouri State Parks, will open at 9 a.m. on August 7. The 60-acre campground is located west of the fairgrounds on Clarendon Road. Unreserved spot rental is $45 per day per vehicle/unit. Approximately 85 full hook-up sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, after which dry camping will be offered. All types of camping units, including tents, are accommodated. The lineup process starts no earlier than 7 a.m. on August 7, with entry through Centennial Gate (Gate 12) on Highway 65 until 6 p.m., after which campers may enter directly via the main campground entrance on Clarendon Road. Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) with a 2% plus $0.25 service charge.
