Camper manufacturer and seller Nuts RV announced on June 4 the opening of its first official dealership in the Tohoku region — Nuts Sendai. The opening is scheduled for July 3, 2026. The center will operate in partnership with Marumi Rental Lease (some sources say Marumi Rent-a-Lease) in Tomiya, Miyagi Prefecture.
The decision is driven by growing demand for campers and car sleeping, as well as an increase in inquiries from the Tohoku region, which previously had no permanent sales points. The new center will provide sales, maintenance, and after-sales support. According to one source, Nuts RV holds about 30% of Japan's camper market, producing 1,200 units per year across five plants.
