The municipality of Bourcefranc-le-Chapus has opened a new motorhome area with 25 pitches in partnership with the European network Camping-Car Park. The facility is located at 17 Rue Robert-Surcouf, in the town center, near the market and the town stadium.
The area is open year-round and aims to attract tourists and support local businesses. The cost for a 24-hour stay is approximately 15 euros. The mayor called the facility a "real added value" for tourism. The opening took place in late July – early August 2026. A similar area with 20 pitches has opened in Dompierre-sur-Mer.
