Around 30 campervans are already parked at the legendary Col d'Aspin in the Hautes-Pyrénées, waiting for the sixth stage of the 2026 Tour de France on July 9. The caravaners arrived several days early to secure spots, spending their time hiking and watching the race.
Among them are a couple from Carcassonne who have followed mountain stages for over 20 years, and former world cycling championship participant Joseph Kerner. Some spectators, like Lucas from Germany, prefer tents for greater flexibility.
