Restored 1969 Airstream Land Yacht Ambassador Listed for Sale

A 1968 Chevrolet C20 CST Custom Camper pickup truck paired with a 1966 Del Rey Sky Lounge tri-level camper is being auctioned. The truck features a 396 V8 engine rated at 220 bhp and a 3-speed automatic transmission. The camper includes a sleeping area, kitchenette, toilet, and shower. The odometer shows 97,000 miles.

A fully restored 1953 Spartan Spartanette Tandem 131 travel trailer has been listed for auction. The 31-foot dual-axle trailer features a polished riveted aluminum shell and was refurbished by the current owner starting in 2019. The restoration included new wiring, insulation, plumbing, and interior finishes. The trailer is being sold from Pickens, South Carolina.

A unique motorhome called the Airnado, built in the early 1980s, is now listed on Bring a Trailer. It combines the front end of a 1969 Oldsmobile Toronado with the body of a 1967 Airstream Land Yacht. Powered by a 7.5-liter V8 engine producing 375 hp, it features front-wheel drive and a living area with kitchen, toilet, and sleeping berth. The current owner completed a renovation in 2023, including new flooring, solar panels, and lithium batteries.
