Residents reported living on the street for three months to a year. Adjacent to the encampment, a city-supported safe parking program operates 25 spaces at about $40 per night, totaling roughly $365,000 annually, offering dinner, restrooms, and security. The Housing Authority stated outreach workers regularly engage those nearby, but they have declined to join the program.
