The ADAC camping portal PiNCAMP has published a seasonality analysis based on anonymized booking data for 2023–2026. The report shows that camping demand in Europe is shifting from peak summer to spring and autumn: in April–June 2026, bookings in Northern Europe grew by 53% year-on-year, in Central Europe by 25%, and in Southern Europe by 18%. In September–October, growth was 47%, 5%, and 4% respectively. For summer 2026, Northern Europe saw a 15% increase, Central Europe 6%, while Southern Europe declined by 2%, though it still accounts for 67% of summer bookings. Average family night rates in high season range from €38 in Norway to €73 in Croatia.
