An increasing number of people in China are adopting motorhomes and caravans as a lifestyle solution to avoid high rents and commuting costs. The trend is driven by remote workers and urban professionals seeking flexible living, with domestic motorhome sales reaching 9,803 units in Q3 2025, a 6.7% year-on-year increase. However, users report practical challenges including limited utilities, space constraints, and a shortage of adequate campsites.
