The Chinese city of Maoming is attracting motorhome owners from northern regions as a winter destination due to its warm climate. Authorities have established over ten temporary parking areas with basic amenities, often free or low-cost. The influx is boosting the local rural economy through direct sales of agricultural products and the development of micro-campsites.
