Living in a motorhome to avoid taxes: the real costs

French singer Daniel Guichard has been using a motorhome for tours for about ten years to avoid hotels and dressing rooms. His current vehicle is a German Niesmann + Bischoff motorhome weighing 5.5 tons, which he says costs as much as a house. Guichard drives it with an old category B license issued before 1976.

Police in Chambéry arrested a 52-year-old woman suspected of thefts from parked vehicles. She confessed to three thefts, including breaking into one car, and was released pending a court appearance in October.
