Four campgrounds in South Korea where campfires using portable fire pits are officially allowed have been highlighted. They include a site in Chiaksan National Park, renovated in 2025 for motorhomes and caravans, and three other locations in Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces. This is notable as many forest and national park campgrounds in the country ban open fires due to wildfire risks.
