Booking

Booking is done through the 'Supnadeul' system (foresttrip.go.kr). According to one source, booking opens at 9:00 AM on the 9th of each month for the following month, with Yangsan residents able to book a day earlier, on the 8th. According to another source, booking opens on the 1st of each month at 9:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority booking for certain visitor categories.

Rules and pricing

Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM.
Off-season rate: about 60,000 won (~~$45); peak season: up to 100,000 won (~~$75).
Campfires are prohibited; a gas stove is required for cooking.
Pets are not allowed.
