French portal SeLoger has listed seven coastal routes for motorhome travel that pass through scenic areas, including cliffs, coves and seaside villages. These include the Alabaster Coast in Normandy (120 km from Le Tréport to Étretat), the Pink Granite Coast in Brittany (30 km along the D788), the Vermeille Coast in the Pyrenees (D914), the Corniche d'Or (40 km between Saint-Raphaël and Théoule-sur-Mer), the Route des Crêtes (between Cassis and La Ciotat, up to 400 m high), the Opal Coast and the Deux-Caps route (D940 between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Calais), and the route through the Calanques de Piana in Corsica (D81, a UNESCO site).
