Some motorhome parking sites in Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Lower Saxony have increased their rates for 2026. In Geesthacht (Herzogtum Lauenburg district), the 24-hour fee rose from €7 to €18. On Sylt, prices increased by €0.50–€1, and in St. Peter-Ording by €2. At the Havelberge Camping Resort in Userin (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district), the high-season rate rose by €2.30 to €33.50. In Neuharlingersiel (Lower Saxony), the increase ranged from €0.50 to €1 depending on the category.
