Actress Min Ji-young on camper van life: "The grass is always greener"

Kia has unveiled the PV5 Light Camper, an electric camper van designed for silent camping. The model features a 71.2 kWh battery that can power the air conditioner and refrigerator all night without engine noise and offers a range of up to 379 km. The E-GMP.S platform provides a fully flat floor, and a 3.6 kW V2L system allows the use of high-power appliances.

The specialized brand Boga9 has launched fully electric seats for camper conversion, designed for the VEGA line of Kia Carnival limousine versions. All key functions, including sliding, backrest adjustment, and bed conversion, are operated by a single electric motor system. The seats are compatible with Carnival High and Low Limousine models and do not require structural changes to maintain the 9-passenger certification.

In Seoul's Gangnam district, mothers with children preparing for exams have started living in camper vans to avoid high rental costs. They rent parking spaces and use the vans as temporary housing. This practice has emerged as a response to the high cost of living in an area with a high concentration of educational institutions.
