Eugene Breindel, 71, has lived in a camper since 2018. His camper, about 13 feet long, has four flexible solar panels generating up to 400 watts. Since September 2019, he has visited 284 national park units and camped in all 48 contiguous US states. To reduce heat on the refrigerator, he parks about 20 to 30 degrees west of south. Due to knee and back problems, he is reconsidering how much longer he can continue this lifestyle.
