At a Wollongong City Council meeting on Monday night, councillors debated the issue of caravans, boats and trailers parked on streets. Councillor Kit Docker said buyers of such vehicles should have adequate off-street parking. Currently, there is no time limit for parking a caravan or boat on the street, but council rangers can fine owners of oversized vehicles and remove unregistered caravans after 28 days.
