Superlite is the World’s Lightest Hardshell Roof Tent

A new generation of roof tents weighing 12 to 38 kg expands the market for electric and small cars. Tested models include TentBox GO, Groenberg WEEKEND COMFORT, and OLC Adventure Ultra Light 130.

Portal has launched the Nomis One tent on Kickstarter, weighing 45.8 pounds. It uses air beams instead of metal frames, allowing one person to set it up in 2 minutes with an electric pump. The tent fits on a car roof, truck bed, or ground, supports up to 550 pounds, and has a 5,000 mm PU waterproof rating.

Inspired Overland has introduced the TrailPeak hard-shell rooftop tent weighing approximately 84 pounds. Priced at $1,399, it is positioned as one of the lightest options in its class, broadening the range of compatible vehicles.
