The first Afyonkarahisar Camping and Caravan Festival took place at Emre Lake in İhsaniye district, attracting about 1,000 participants. Activities included tug-of-war, sack races, egg-carrying contests, a DJ performance, and campfire events. Caravan manufacturers displayed new models, and attendees shared experiences. Local delicacies such as Afyon sausage, keşkek, and cherry bread kadayıf were served. The festival runs until Sunday, followed by a tour of the Phrygian Valley.

Occupancy of bungalows, tent and caravan sites has reached maximum levels. Adana police recovered a stolen tiny house belonging to teacher Burcu Güven, valued at approximately 1.65 million lira. The theft occurred on June 7 while Güven was on vacation in Bali, Indonesia. After reviewing security camera footage within a 20-kilometer radius, officers located the tiny house in a warehouse in Sarıçam district. The suspect remains at large.
