Patrick Industries Reports Q2 Profit Growth Amid RV Industry Headwinds

On Wednesday, monsoon storms caused flooding at Sunset RV Park near Broadway and Ellsworth roads in Mesa, Arizona. The park experienced significant water levels. The National Weather Service issued a Flood Watch for multiple areas in Arizona, including the Dragoon, Mule, and Huachuca Mountains, the Upper San Pedro River Valley, the Baboquivari Mountains, the Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains, and the Tucson and Phoenix metro areas. The watch remains in effect until 11:00 PM MST on Wednesday.

City of Centre officials issued a public-awareness notice clarifying the local camper zoning ordinance after residents raised questions about camper storage and temporary construction offices. Under Article IV, Section 9, one unoccupied camper trailer may be stored inside an accessory private garage or in a rear yard in any zoning district, but it cannot exceed 10 feet in width or 25 feet in length. On September 14, 2026, New York State Police in Chatham responded to Lebanon Valley Speedway at 1746 Route 20 in New Lebanon following a report of a camper fire. Upon arrival, troopers observed multiple campers engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Chatham, Lebanon Valley, Canaan, Red Rock, and Tsatsawassa fire departments worked to extinguish the fires. The ninth annual Goin’ with the Flo Vintage Trailer Rally and Community Open House will take place Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Heceta Beach RV Park, 4636 Heceta Beach Road, at the intersection with Rhododendron Drive, from noon to 3 p.m. Dozens of vintage travel trailers, some restored to perfection and others still in the restoration process, will be displayed alongside vintage hot rods and classic cars arriving around noon. Visitors can meet trailer owners and learn about vintage trailer camping and restoration. The event is free and family-friendly.

While driving on a country road in central Wisconsin, the left wheel of a 16-foot camper fell off. Three local residents helped: Mike returned the wheel and removed three lug nuts from the right wheel, Steve Cross of Cross Automotive Repair replaced the studs and installed the spare wheel, and Brunet Island State Park allowed a free overnight stay. The repair took 90 minutes, and the trip continued.
