LCI Industries and Patrick Industries, both headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana — the RV capital — announced on May 4 the end of discussions regarding a potential merger of equals. The parties were unable to reach mutually acceptable terms for the transaction, despite having previously reached consensus on leadership and strategic plans.

The talks were confirmed on April 17 with no guarantee of a final agreement. Both companies supply components to Winnebago Industries and Thor Industries.
