Buyers are advised to assess five parameters: chassis and drivetrain, body construction and insulation, water and power autonomy, production licence from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and 3C certification, and after-sales network. Prices for Armadillo models range from 1.88 to 10.88 million yuan, including pickups on Dongfeng Mengshi M-50 and Ford F150 chassis, as well as heavy-duty Mercedes AROCS, MAN TGM and Unimog U4023 chassis. Driving heavy models requires A or B licence categories, while pickups and light models are available with a C licence.
