Australian off-road camper and caravan manufacturer Australian Off Road (AOR) has entered administration after 26 years in business. The company ceased operations last week, with administrators Nick Keramos and Bill Karageozis appointed on Tuesday. Founded by Stephen Budden in 2000, AOR employed around 100 people at its peak and built approximately 250 caravans in 2025. General manager Russell Evans cited intensifying product copying, price pressure from Chinese imports, and competition from lower-cost manufacturers in southern Australian states as reasons. A creditors' meeting is scheduled for next week.
