Scamp, a company with decades of experience in the RV market, has introduced two new models.

Scamp 19 — classic family trailer

The Scamp 19 is the largest model in the current lineup. It is a fifth-wheel trailer measuring 5.8 meters in length, made of fiberglass with a classic rounded design. Curb weight starts at 1,406 kg, allowing it to be towed by mid-size pickup trucks. It CAN accommodate up to six people and offers three floor plan options.

Scamp X — first off-road trailer

For the first time in its history, Scamp has released an off-road model — the Scamp X. It is based on the classic 13-foot model but features independent suspension, 46 cm of ground clearance, a skid plate, and mud tires. The starting price is $28,495.

Tom Hanks' son gave up luxury and moved to a trailer park

Chet Hanks, 35-year-old son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, moved to a trailer park in Nashville, Tennessee to focus on his music career. He bought a Jayco Eagle motorhome after enjoying a stay in an Airstream in California. In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Hanks said life in the park defies stereotypes: most residents are retirees, not young people, and the environment is safe. He also noted his motorhome has a kitchen and a separate shower.
