Atlantis and Caesars (Eldorado, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy) provide spaces in separate lots for guests. Grand Sierra Resort charges $250 for parking Sept. 5-10, Peppermill $71.50 per night from Aug. 26 to Sept. 10. J Resort does not accommodate oversized vehicles, while Nugget allows parking in its west lot on a space-available basis. Free daytime parking is available at Reno-Sparks Convention Center until 11 p.m.

Wolves force more camping closures on Isle Royale

Isle Royale National Park has closed tent and group campsites at Three Mile, Daisy Farm, Moskey Basin and Caribou Island from Aug. 28 through Oct. 31 due to continued wolf activity. The park service cited reports of wolves pawing at tents and entering them to drag away packs and sleeping pads. This is the third closure this season; earlier closures affected Duncan Narrows and Three Mile campgrounds. Shelters remain open, and visitors are still welcome.
