Aboard has unveiled the T4 caravan, equipped with its own traction battery of about 100 kWh and an electric drive assistance system. This allows the caravan not only to reduce the load on the towing vehicle but also to move independently at low speed using a smartphone or remote control.
According to the manufacturer, thanks to the battery and roof-mounted solar panels, the T4 can operate for up to seven days without connecting to an external power source. The energy system can also power external devices.
Technical specifications, price and the date of entry to the European market have not been announced. The model is expected to be in the premium price segment.
