Australian manufacturer Goldy Caravans has introduced the Getaway, its smallest travel trailer. The body measures 3.65 m (12 ft) long and 2.3 m (7.5 ft) wide, with a total length of 5 m (16.4 ft). It weighs 850 kg (1,874 lbs) empty and has a maximum permissible weight of 1,250 kg (2,756 lbs). Built on a DuraGal steel chassis with a single axle and leaf spring suspension, it features a molded composite fiberglass body and full insulation. Two base configurations are available: the Base Model with a queen bed and L-shaped counter, and the Ensuite, Dining, Kitchenette Options with options for a wet bathroom, dinette, and kitchenette. Prices start at around AUD45,000. The company ships internationally, including to the U.S.
