On the evening of May 7, 2026, on the D33 road in La Chapelle-des-Marais (Loire-Atlantique), a scooter collided with a motorhome. The scooter rider, a 35-year-old man, died at the scene. The two occupants of the motorhome were unharmed. Twelve firefighters and gendarmerie responded.
