Two lanes of the M6 northbound between junctions 16 and 17 were closed yesterday (Sunday) after a campervan caught fire. Fire crews from Crewe and Congleton attended the incident at 2:24 pm, using breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the blaze. The vehicle was made safe before being handed over to National Highways.
